Early 19th-century American needlework sampler worked in silk threads on linen, signed by Jane Evans and dated December 10, 1867. The sampler features upper and lowercase alphabets, numerals, decorative borders, and a central landscape incorporating a large red brick house flanked by stylized fruit trees and floral motifs. Framed Size: 13 1/2 in. x 12 in.
