A early 19th century Regency Mahogany Lancet table Clock Webster, Cornhill, London The case with a lancet top with raised detailing to the front depicting geometric patterns and Regency designs, the sides with leopard head shaped carrying handles over Gothic revival sound frets backed in red velvet, terminating in a sloped base and sitting on four acorn shaped brass feet. The 7 inch painted white dial with black Roman numerals signed in the centre Webster, Cornhill, London with blued steel hands. The double fusee movement with anchor escapement striking the hours on a polished bell mounted to the back plate, with engraved pendulum and back plate signed in an oval cartouche by the maker, currently ticking and striking. 43cms (17ins) high.
