BASSELIER LARGE BELGIAN MAHOGANY BRACKET CLOCK
Chinese Chippendale Architectural Case with gilt dial marked "D. Basselier a Bruxelles" having an ornate carved finial atop a mansard form roof with leaf carved corner, the arch top dial having maker's mark, eagle engraved button at top, reticulated appliques. 8 day engraved brass movement, with chime and date bit, reticulated sides with wine colored mohair fabric backing, carved brackets and columns.

Includes pendulum, crank and case lock key.
OS with Finial: 33 x 17 1/2 x 13 in. (83.8 x 44.5 x 33 cm.), Removable Finial: 6 in. (15.2 cm.)
