Large Oversized Vintage Italian Vetri Murano White Swirl Glass "Egg-Shaped" Lamp.
The gorgeous swirl pattern is created using a technique called rigadin ritorto, 'twisted ribbing'.
This piece, as in many of the hand blown pieces of the same nature, with this spiral swirl effect, is created when the continuity of spinning the piece, while at a slight angle, to create this infinity like swirl effect by Murano hand blower.
This is the extra large version produced in this style.
