Vintage Italian Gilt Bronze & Marble Rococo Lyre Clock w/Faun Figurals

A grand vintage Imperial gilt bronze and black marble Rococo style clock. Features a lyre shape with 2 faun sculptures mounted to a black marble base. The finial and backing of the lyre strings are also black marble. Around the finial are four rooster heads. The fauns stand at an angle and are holding the ends of a garland or swag of berries and leaves. The footed base is highly ornate with lion paw feet. Clock works and keeps good time. This was made in Italy and is a mid 20th Century reproduction. Beautiful statement piece for any Rococo, Italian, or French Provincial style decor. Clock measures 24" high, 14.5" high, and 7.5" deep. Weighs 29 lbs. Excellent condition, no damage, wear commensurate with age.
