These stunning armchairs are made of solid mahogany and feature the signature hand-forged iron strapping at the back, beautifully scooped and contoured seats for comfort, and that unmistakable rustic Western charm for which Monterey Furniture is so beloved. Each chair is signed and branded on the underside, and we believe they were produced by the renowned Mason Manufacturing Company of Los Angeles, one of the premier makers of Monterey-style furnishings during the Golden Hollywood era of the 1930s and 1940s.

The original finish remains intact, preserving a wonderfully weathered patina that enhances their authenticity and character. The texture and tone recall the rugged romance of an old California ranch or Western saloon "” rustic yet refined, with enduring craftsmanship that tells its story through every detail.
