A beautifully detailed vintage pierced brass lantern-form vase handcrafted in India, featuring hand-cut openwork floral arabesque patterns accented with multicolored glass cabochons.

The vessel is constructed of heavy brass sheet that has been hand-pierced and chased, allowing light to pass through the cutwork "” originally intended to function as a candle or ambient lantern as well as a decorative vessel. When illuminated, the piece casts intricate patterned shadows, making it ideal for entryways, patios, or layered interior styling.

A striking bohemian, Spanish revival, or Moroccan-inspired accent "” equally effective as a floor object, large tabletop piece, or atmospheric lighting feature.
