Philippe Barbier chrome-plated brass photophore candleholder or petite vase, with clear glass insert. Two oval openings allow light to shine through. Stamped on underside.
Barbier worked in Paris during the 1960s and 1970s designing and producing lighting for French film sets under the name 'Maison Barbier'. He was known for his polished chrome over brass pieces in an array of sculptural shapes.
