This one"‘of"‘a"‘kind pendant light is a sculptural composition of two hand"‘blown glass elements, standing about 24 inches tall and measuring roughly 23 inches wide by 16 inches deep.

The large lower shade"”hand"‘blown by Susan Glass (1937–2005)"”anchors the piece. From the front, its broad, undulating folds flare outward like an abstract jellyfish rising through water, the edges curling and dipping with the slow, tidal motion of the sea.

Its colors shift through violet, indigo, and soft blue"”sea"‘deep hues that carry a gentle, underwater iridescence that intensifies toward the center. At the top, an applied glass swirl sits within a surrounding swirled glaze, echoing the spiraling currents on the surface. Viewed from below, the included amber ribbed globe bulb adds a warm counter"‘glow, its texture and color pooling through the folds like sunlight filtering down through water.

Above it rests the second glass element by a Seattle glassblower. Its flared, ruffled lip is wrapped in swirling ribbons of purple and warm tones of orange, amber, and soft red"”colors that rise like a flame"‘tipped finial above the cooler, oceanic shade below
