A rare oversized Swedish Modern wastebasket executed in dramatically figured rosewood veneer, Sweden, circa 1960s. Constructed using laminated bentwood techniques, the tapered cylindrical form is fully veneered both inside and out, showcasing continuous vertical grain with exceptional contrast and movement throughout.

Unlike standard period wastebaskets, this example possesses an unusually large scale and strong architectural presence, measuring nearly nineteen inches high with a broad 13.75 inch opening.
