A Chinese late Qing Dynasty period antique lacquered octagonal basket from the early 20th century with hand painted floral décor, large handle and made to deliver gifts. Created in China during the late Qing Dynasty period in the early years of the 20th century, this decorative basket was conceived to deliver gifts. The basket features an octagonal body topped with a lid and a large handle. Lacquered, the basket is hand painted with a delicate floral décor including roses. Boasting a nicely weathered appearance revealing its use and good age, this Chinese late Qing Dynasty period lacquered basket from the early 20th century will make for a charming decorative addition to any home, perhaps placed in a kitchen or living room.
