This marvelous antique French charcuterie or serving tray is created in gorgeous silver plate with an incredibly detailed and sculpted pattern of grapes, vines and leaves surrounding the edges and handles. The amazing tray is engraved with an intricate pair of elongated six sided stars, with a stippled and floral engraved background. Hallmarks are: Garniture Argenti, JM within a square as well as a spiked roundel. There are 10'E, which indicates that for every 10 kilos of base metal, 1 kilo of silver was used, which indicates the highest quality of French silver plate. Measurements for this fabulous creation are: Length including handles=26-1/4 inches, Width side to side=19-1/4 inches, Height from top edge to bottom=2 inches without handle, 4 inches with handles.
