This marvelous pair of 2 19th Century Georgian style cut glass wine or spirits decanters are created with a very beautiful diamond cut pattern, as well as a ribbed neck and a delightful ribbon, button and swag pattern on the body of these fit and flared tapered decanters. The mushroom shaped stoppers have the same, very intricate diamond pattern with small cross-hatchings within each diamond shape. The bottoms of the bases have the same very detailed pattern. There are no signatures or hallmarks. Measurements for these fabulous creations are: Height from top to bottom including stoppers=10 inches, Width at widest=4 inches, Base diameter=3-1/4 inches. This marvelous pair of two cut glass decanters have been well cared for, gently used and are in excellent antique condition, free from chips, cracks or other imperfects. One of the stoppers is stained, which did not come out with washing. Each stopper has a couple of minute flee bites on the stem and around the decanter opening, commensurate with age and use.
