I don't speak French but I have enjoyed these beautiful books sitting on my coffee table for many years basically as decor since I love all things French, Limoges, etc. They would make a great addition to your library. The graphics in these volumes are abundant and amazing. Each photo is worthy of being framed. You don't need to be fluent in French to appreciate them!

As an example, one of the books has 549 pages, weighs 7 lbs and measures 9 1/2" x 12" 1/2" x 1 5/8" thick. The bindings are strong and the books are in overall very good condition for the age.
