A Large Mason's Ironstone China Blue Transfer Decorated Platter "Turner Willow" Pattern, Circa 1830's

Impressed Mark: "Ashworth Real Ironstone China", and the transfer printed Mason's Crown "Ironstone China"

Most likely made by Mason's, circa 1830's

Very heavy platter, abnormally dense clay material was used to make this platter.
Blue willow style pattern, called Turner Willow.

Size: 18 3/4" by 14"

Condition: one small glaze chip on the front edge, and another spot where it appears to have a chip that was ground down, along with a larger spot on the back to level the platter out so it would sit flat. Kinda unique actually. a darkened crazing line on the face, doesn't appear to be a crack.
