This charming vintage folk art sculpture was created by Mexican artist Gemma Taccogna and is crafted from hand-painted papier-mâché. The stylized female bust features Taccogna's signature aesthetic "” oversized expressive eyes, delicate painted lashes, and a sweetly simplified face framed by brown hair and a patterned headscarf. The figure is finished in a warm palette of orange, cream, and green with bold floral motifs that give the piece a distinctly mid-century folk art character. A delicate painted ribbon at the neckline adds an extra whimsical detail.
