Such a moody and mysterious original watercolor! This original signed watercolor is by highly collectible artist Elisée Maclet (France, 1881-1962). It depicts a French Street Scene, including a narrow cobblestone street with arched doorways, balconies and an oil lantern. And, what is that figure doing in the distance? It is impeccably framed with a gold trim around the art, a 2-3/4" wide ivory matte, and a 3-1/2" gold-tone wood frame. There's even a cutout on the back to reveal "E. Maclet"- the original signature on the back of the watercolor paper. This is an impressive original piece of art fit for any collector!

Art itself measures 13-1/2" wide x 19-1/2" high. Overall framed piece measures 25-3/4" wide x 32" high x 1-3/4" deep.
