Large Early Rectangular Mid-Century Black Resin Inlaid "Seascape" Tray by Couroc

Description

Large tray by Couroc of Monterey, California with an inlaid "seascape"/"sea life" motif (early example, circa 1950s).
Composed of a black lacquer phenolic resin (water, burn, stain, and detergent resistant plastic) with inlaid abalone shell, coral, and seaweed accents.
Retains the Couroc manufacturer's foil label.
Excellent, vintage condition with only minor wear consistent with age / use present.
