A stunning large vintage Cottage, American Classical, Nautical Style reproduction of the original Vintage lithographic print of Purple Heron after Prideaux John Selby. Selby was very gifted as an artist, and created two volumes of "Illustrations of British Ornithology" which are outstandingly beautiful. This reproduction comes from a First Limited English Edition, published circa 1990s. Printed on high quality paper. Very detailed. Colors are deep and rich. Excellent condition - never framed.
