Description
This group of ceramic bubby pots consists of two lidded pots crafted in the style of late 18th or early 19th-century creamware. The pieces are composed of cream-colored lead-glazed earthenware with a glossy finish. Both pots feature pear-shaped bodies resting on flared pedestal bases with curved gooseneck spouts and simple loop handles. The smaller pot features an internal pierced strainer at the base of the spout and a lid topped with a pointed finial. The larger pot features a single-hole spout and a lid with a rounded knob finial.
