Description

A pair of realistic anatomical hand models from the Rubin Collection, crafted from terracotta-colored ceramic. This set includes a left and a right hand, each featuring lifelike anatomical details such as knuckle structure, skin creases, and fingernails. One hand is modeled in an open, relaxed posture with the palm facing upward, while the other is depicted in a partially clenched, gripping position. Each piece bears a circular silver-toned label on the surface marked Rubin Collection. These types of educational models were frequently used in medical and artistic training facilities during the mid-to-late 20th century.
