Excellent Vintage American floral appliqué quilt dated 1947, worked on a white ground and decorated with colorful floral and foliate motifs. The design centers on a large oval floral arrangement enclosed by a scalloped outline, with additional flowering branches and individual blossoms distributed throughout the field and at the corners. An embroidered inscription and date appear at the corner.
