Geri Taper is an American artist (1929-2004) who painted in New York during the 1970s and 1980s. In the 1990s she suffered several hospitalizations due to bipolar illness. Taper has been collected by Alice Tully, Agnes Gund and the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Art.
