Oil on board framed painting after "Sentinel Rock Through Pines Yosemite Park: by Thomas Moran. A member of the Hudson River School - Moran was known for his work which captured the beauty A work that was published in the 1913 book entitled "Three Wonderlands of the American West" by Thomas Murphy. This painted copy of which captures the beauty and scope of Moran's original work.. Signed E. Ruforth 1915 in lower right corner. Framed in what appears to be its original gold gilt wood frame.

Painting itself measures 21" wide x 13" high.
With frame measures 26.5" wide x 18.75" high x 2" deep.

In very good antique condition. Painting has some "wear" on edge of board commensurate with age. Surface is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, or paint loss of note. Frame has some minor gilt loss along with slight "dings" and wear again commensurate with age and use. See photos for details.
