Vibrant original oil on canvas by celebrated Southern California artist Patricia "Patti" Rock (1927–2004), depicting an abundant bouquet of yellow daisies cascading from a vase against a dramatic chiaroscuro ground. Executed with Rock's signature gestural impasto (appears as palette knife technique) and commanding color sensibility "” chrome yellows punched against near-monochromatic greys, a bold composition that reads as confidently mid-century.

Rock was an artist and teacher for over 50 years and owner of art galleries in Laguna Beach, with participation in the Catalina Art Festival spanning four decades. Her works entered the private collections of John Wayne, Andy Williams, Mel Blanc, and Frankie Avalon, and she presented numerous one-woman shows across the United States and Canada. She lived 1927–2004.
