Freesia (scientific name: Freesia), also known as freesia, is a genus of the Iridaceae family [1][2][3], a type of perennial bulbous herb. It has yellow, white, purple, red, pink and other colors. The flowers are lopsided and narrow below the middle of the tube, and the lobes are of different sizes.
This art serves botany, using pen drawings or watercolors to record plants as accurately as possible. These artistic traditions can be traced back to the 16th century, and the 18th century was undoubtedly the century of flourishing botanical art. It nurtured people's enthusiasm for botany and floral decorative art. The tradition of displaying a single species on a blank background has not changed to this day.
