Matching pair of 11¢ John F. Kennedy aerogramme First Day of Issue covers autographed respectively by Douglas Jones and Robert L. Miller. Each cover bears the official Boston, Massachusetts May 29, 1965 First Day of Issue cancellation for the JFK air mail aerogramme issue featuring President Kennedy’s profile in blue. The pair represents two of the principal creative contributors behind the historic Kennedy postal design.

Douglas Jones served as the photographer responsible for the iconic profile image of President Kennedy used on the 11¢ aerogramme issue. Robert L. Miller designed the overall aerogramme layout and stamp presentation for the United States Postal Service. Together, their work produced one of the most visually distinctive Kennedy memorial postal issues of the 1960s, combining modern graphic design with a solemn commemorative tribute to the late president.
