Nick McDonald 8.5 x 11” facsimile copy of a post-autopsy photograph of Lee Harvey Oswald, captioned “Oswald, After the Autopsy!” Boldly autographed in ink by former President Gerald R. Ford and additionally signed and inscribed by Officer M. Nick McDonald, “Officer M. ‘Nick’ McDonald – Captor of Oswald – 11-22-63.”

Gerald R. Ford (1913–2006) served as a member of the Warren Commission in 1964 before later becoming the 38th President of the United States. The Commission concluded that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. M. Nick McDonald (1927–2002) was the Dallas police officer who arrested Oswald at the Texas Theatre on November 22, 1963. Their combined signatures connect two central figures in the arrest and official investigation of one of the most consequential events in American history.
