Designated UPI-129 (Add 39 Kennedy, Washington), the dispatch reports on the conclusion of the funeral Mass at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle, the Kennedy family’s participation in Holy Communion, and the solemn beginning of the funeral procession to Arlington National Cemetery.

The bulletin records that Jacqueline Kennedy, accompanied by Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy, approached the communion rail, followed by numerous members of the Kennedy family and approximately 200 other mourners. It further notes that Auxiliary Bishop Philip M.
