Jacqueline Kennedy handwritten note on official White House stationery addressed to her longtime personal secretary, Mary B. Gallagher. Written in blue ink on a 5 x 8” sheet bearing the printed “The White House – Washington” letterhead, the brief memorandum concerns obtaining photographs from a school visit. In the upper right corner, Gallagher added the date “3/25/63” for filing purposes.
The note reads:
“Mary
Will you get me some prints
of these pictures when Indians
came to children’s school”
The recipient, Mary B. Gallagher, served as Jacqueline Kennedy’s trusted personal secretary and confidante throughout the Kennedy administration. Gallagher added the filing date in the upper right corner and marked the note as completed with a large check mark.
