Mary Ann Moorman autographed 4 x 6” glossy photograph depicting a portrait of the famed eyewitness to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in Dallas, Texas, on November 22, 1963. The photograph is signed in black ink, “Regards, Mary Ann Moorman,” across the lower margin. Affixed to the reverse is an identification label detailing Moorman’s role as a witness to the assassination and noting that she captured her historic Polaroid photograph moments after the fatal headshot.

Mary Ann Moorman became an important figure in Kennedy assassination history when she photographed the presidential motorcade in Dealey Plaza on November 22, 1963. Standing alongside her friend Jean Hill on the south side of Elm Street, Moorman captured one of the most studied images associated with the assassination.
