Near fine condition.
John F. Kennedy (1917–1963) served as the 35th President of the United States and remains one of the most influential political figures of the twentieth century. His 1960 campaign against Vice President Richard Nixon marked a turning point in modern American politics, emphasizing television, youth, energy, and direct engagement with voters. Photographs such as this capture the excitement and optimism that surrounded Kennedy’s rise to the presidency and document the grassroots campaign appearances that helped propel him to a narrow electoral victory. This original press photograph preserves a candid moment from one of the most consequential presidential campaigns in American history.
