Details:
Clint Hill handwritten address fragment penned in blue ink on a torn section removed from a period envelope. Hill writes his name and position, “Clinton J. Hill,” “U.S. Secret Service.” The piece dates from Hill’s service during the Kennedy administration and represents an unusual surviving artifact directly connected to one of the most recognizable members of President John F. Kennedy’s protective detail.
Good condition overall.
Clint Hill (1932-2025) served as a Special Agent of the United States Secret Service and is best remembered for his actions in Dallas on November 22, 1963. Assigned to protect First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy, Hill famously leapt onto the rear of the presidential limousine moments after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in an effort to shield the President and First Lady from further harm. His courageous response was captured in the Zapruder film and became one of the defining images of that tragic day. Following the assassination, Hill continued his distinguished Secret Service career and later became one of the most widely recognized figures associated with the Kennedy White House.
