The ArtCraft cachet cover commemorates the 1964 JFK 5¢ memorial stamp issue and features a portrait of President Kennedy above a memorial inscription and inaugural quotation. Postmarked May 29, 1964, in Boston, Massachusetts.

Gerald A. Blaine (1928–2011) was a United States Secret Service agent who served on President John F. Kennedy’s protective detail and led the White House Detail during the Kennedy administration. Blaine was closely involved with presidential security operations throughout Kennedy’s presidency and later authored memoirs reflecting on his experiences surrounding the administration and the assassination era.
