Gerald Behn autographed John F. Kennedy memorial First Day of Issue cover in black ink. The ArtCraft cachet cover commemorates the 1964 JFK 5¢ memorial stamp issue and features a portrait of President Kennedy above a memorial inscription and inaugural quotation. Postmarked May 29, 1964, in Boston, Massachusetts.

Gerald A. Behn (1918–1999) was a United States Secret Service agent who served as Special Agent in Charge of the White House Detail under Presidents Dwight D. Eisenhower and John F. Kennedy. Behn was responsible for overseeing presidential protection operations and was one of the senior agents closest to Kennedy during his presidency. Following the assassination, he continued his distinguished Secret Service career and later served in executive security roles within the private sector.
