Representing dozens of countries across Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean, the collection includes first day covers, commemorative postal stationery, cacheted envelopes, souvenir covers, registered mail, airmail pieces, and official government-issued memorials produced in the years following Kennedy’s presidency and assassination.

The collection showcases the remarkable global response to Kennedy’s legacy, with material from nations including Monaco, Jordan, Senegal, Togo, Colombia, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, the Isle of Man, Germany, the Vatican, and many others. Subjects include Kennedy’s presidency, state visits, the space program, international diplomacy, the Nuclear Test Ban Treaty, memorial issues, and artistic portrait cachets. Several covers commemorate Kennedy’s meetings with world leaders, including Charles de Gaulle and Mexican President Adolfo López Mateos, while others feature official governmental seals, foreign postal administrations, and attractive multicolor commemorative stamp issues.
