John F. Kennedy original 5” diameter presidential campaign sticker issued during the historic 1960 presidential campaign. The large circular lapel-style sticker features a striking profile portrait of Kennedy surrounded by the bold slogan, “KENNEDY WILL WIN,” with attribution to the Kennedy for President Committee, 260 Tremont Street, Boston, Massachusetts.

The reverse retains the original manufacturer’s instructions identifying it as a “Special Lapel Badge” designed to adhere to clothing without leaving marks, a popular campaign novelty distributed to supporters during Kennedy’s successful bid for the White House.

This example originates from the estate of Benjamin A. Smith II, one of John F. Kennedy’s closest lifelong friends. Smith and Kennedy were roommates at Harvard University and maintained a close friendship throughout their lives. Following Kennedy’s election to the presidency, Smith was appointed to the United States Senate from Massachusetts to fill the vacancy created when Kennedy resigned his Senate seat.
