Details:
Robert F. Kennedy autographed “Washington D.C.” Kodachrome Reproductions miniature souvenir booklet measuring approximately 4.25 x 2.75”, containing color photographic views of the nation’s capital. Kennedy has boldly signed the interior cover in blue ink. The booklet was produced as a compact collectible featuring scenes of Washington landmarks including the United States Capitol.
Our consignor notes the origin of the autograph: “In 1967 when I was 8 years old, my family visited the Capitol Building in Washington DC. I believe we were in the Rotunda when Senator Robert Kennedy was walking near us. My mother pushed me towards him with a DC photo souvenir book and a pen to ask for his autograph. Senator Kennedy was kind enough to sign this book.”
Fine condition.

Kennedy, and later as a United States Senator from New York. One of the most influential political figures of the 1960s, Kennedy became widely admired for his advocacy on civil rights, poverty, and social justice issues before his assassination during the 1968 presidential campaign.
