REVOLVER. Cal 22 Short. S# 45570. Bbl 3 3/16" octagon with rib and semi-circular front sight. Round 7 shot cylinder has 1855, 1859 and 1860 patent dates. Tip-up action with a spur trigger. Blue finished bbl. and cylinder with silver finished brass frame. Square butt Rosewood grips. Approx. 117,000 mfg. 1860-1868. CONDITION: bbl & cylinder retain over 80% lightly faded blue. Brass frame shows 98% nickel plating having a very pleasing uncleaned dark tarnish. Rosewood grips show scattered handling marks. Sound action cycles properly. Good bore has sharp rifling.
