This exquisite lamp features a captivating sculpture created by the sculptor, Claude Le Clerc, for the Austin Production Company in 1981.

At its heart, it depicts a refined lady in Victorian period clothing. Her golden hair is tied up in a bun under a light blue hat that frames her gentle but serene face. Her satin like aqua blue dress modestly accentuates her figure as it extends down the ground. It is trimmed with antique white lace at the neck, sleeves and waist that contrast beautifully against her metallic bronze complexion and the blues of her dress.

She maintains a reserved posture as she stands poised on a wood lamp base surrounded by green grass. In a moment of repose from the sun she has placed her ornate lace parasol on the ground before her, her hands resting gracefully on the handles.

With a subtle tilt of her head, she gazes slightly upward, as if catching sight of someone she has been anticipating, yet her facial expression remains composed, and her stately posture never wavers.
