Offering a 5-piece garden set. The settee, two chairs and planter box are heavy cast iron in the early 20th century pattern of grapes and leaves design on the back, arms, and legs. This motif is consistent with styles popular during the Victorian period. The seats showcase reticulated scrollwork in organic lines characteristic of Art Nouveau.

The planter is also made of iron with grapevine decorations. Straight legs and corners designed for practicality and stability. Not all Victorian or Art Nouveau cast iron pieces are equally ornate and simpler functional designs were also produced. The original metal liner which often is missing or worn out is completely intact.

The garden table is in a complimentary Art Nouveau styling with whiplash curves. It is made of lighter weight cast-aluminum. It is offered at no additional cost with this cast iron set at it was the complete set from the owner. If you do not wish this aluminum piece it does not have to be shipped.

Condition Notes: Chippy white paint and weathered patina throughout. Authentically aged to timeless charm. The chairs show an aged-green paint underneath. Consistent with age and outdoor use, rust is shown as weathered in the outdoors-structurally sound and no known repairs. The set has been scrubbed and power sprayed. The groves and crevices continue to retain dirt from years in outdoor environment.
