Description
An exceptional hand-pulled woodblock reproduction of Utagawa Hiroshige's "Plum Estate, Kameido," Plate No. 30 from the 1857 series One Hundred Famous Views of Edo. This print features the legendary "Sleeping Dragon Plum" (Garyūbai), the most celebrated tree in Edo, known for its unique branches that looped across the ground like a sleeping dragon. Its revolutionary "close-up" perspective famously inspired Vincent van Gogh's own 1887 masterpiece.
