This is an authentic mid-19th-century American Britannia ware (high-grade pewter) coffee pot in the desirable "Lighthouse" form. The base features a crisp, clear maker's mark for J.B. Graves of Troy, New York. Joshua B. Graves operated his solo shop between 1847 and 1848, making this a rare and well-documented piece of New York metalware history.

Standing 12 inches high, the pot exhibits a beautiful, mellow grey patina that has remained undisturbed. The construction features a classic scrolled handle, a high-domed lid with an acorn-style finial, and a flared base typical of the period.

Condition: Good antique condition with minor surface oxidation and light wear consistent with age. The metal remains solid with no significant pitting. The J.B. Graves touchmark on the underside is exceptionally legible. Sold with an original, uncleaned patina for the discerning collector.
