Paul Millet ( 1870 - 1950 )was a ceramist maker in Sevres , he won a world faire in Paris in 1889 and became famous for it s splendid glaze and colorings ,the mix off different bleus and a little touch of gold give to his work a unique splendor , the bleu is the colors he was the most appreciate for but not only the deep red as well is quite appreciate , he always finish his pieces with bronze mounting that gives them a very high hand finish .His styles evaluated with the time so you can find very classic pieces like this pair to Art Nouveau and Art Deco .Paul MIlet was signing his pieces depending periods MP Sevres , that has not to be mistaking with the manufacture de Sevres that is absolutely different , he always could doit because he was based in the city of Sevres so the polemic never ended .
