Beautiful antique Villeroy & Boch Mettlach porcelain plaque decorated with angelic cherubs. The central portrait depicts two Cherubs playing a flute. On the lively purple frame are three additional cherubs in high relief. The frame itself is presented in a range of light to darker violet and purple hues. This plaque was produced by Villeroy & Boch in Mettlach, Germany (near the borders of France and Luxembourg) during a high point of the company's storied history. It is a magnificent statement piece.
