This is a hand-colored sketch by the well known Romanian-born portrait and landscape artist, Dimitry Berea. By the time that Berea prepared this sketch in 1955, he was already a highly regarded artist and circulated regularly in elite social circles "” as evidenced by this sketch of the head of the Bulova watch company (Arde Bulova) and Prof. Nimbus de Zaharia.
