Beautiful, large, and perfectly shaped piece of 1970's hand-crafted studio pottery. Round ridged body is topped by a small round opening. Olive or deep sage green matte glazed surface is decorated with a geometric pattern in brown. Measures 14" high x 15" diameter. Signed on bottom by artist. In excellent vintage condition. Ken Edwards (1948 - 2013) had a natural ability to mold clay into amazing works of art. While studying at the University of Puget Sound - he traveled to Japan. Where he met their national treasure - ceramicist Hamada. Embracing his zen philosophy of the craft.

For over thirty years Ken was considered one of Montana's best. Respected and admired for his artistry, technical skills, and expertise. Today his work is rare and held in high regard.
