Description
This gorgeous Victorian style Tea/Coffee Serving Set is silver plated and engraved with gorgeous floral motifs. This stunning set includes 9 total pieces; two tea/coffee pots, one large tea urn with a front spout and two side handles, one creamer, one round bowl/pot (no handles), one large butler tray, and a large tilting water pitcher with a matching cup. The large tilting pitcher has a porcelain interior, is monogrammed "JND" and bears the marking "Pairpoint MFG Co. | Quadruple Plate 1806" and the cup is marked "Pairpoint MFG Co. | Quadruple Plate |1609". The other pieces are marked on the bottom as "Meriden B. Company | 1923" and all bear the monogram "D". The larger teapot has an additional mark of "6" and the smaller teapot is marked "5", see measurements below. Only the tray does not appear to have a marking / monogram. Due to the material and stamped details, we believe these pieces were made in the late 19th century to the early 20th century, and they pair well together as a gorgeous statement set for entertaining or displaying.
