Large Black Forest 8 Pointer Red Deer Trophy on Carved Plaque - Germany ca. 1940s

A large 8-pointer red deer trophy (Cervus elaphus) from South Germany, mounted on a brown wooden plate with ornate acorn and leaf carvings. The trophy was shot around 1940.
