The hilt features a wire-wrapped grip, which is unravelling in areas consistent with age and handling.

The blade retains a traditional cavalry sabre profile and presents well as a period-style mounted service sword. No visible maker markings are present on the blade. The included scabbard shows wear consistent with age and use, completing the set for display or collection purposes.
